At Sunshine Jiu Jitsu our mission statement is:

Provide top level Jiu Jitsu instructions to adults, children, and families with the focus on not only building competent martial skills, but also fostering personal growth and development, confidence, and improved health and wellbeing. We value community and want to bring people together through the pursuit of self-improvement. It is our goal to make Jiu Jitsu accessible to as many participants as possible.”

The price structure that we developed when we opened the gym offered Jiu Jitsu memberships at a price that is lower than almost any other gym in the country. But what we have found is that the membership price is still inaccessible for a large number of the community. The purpose of our gym is not to maximize profits and drive up the bottom line-it is to teach people a valuable skill and bring the community together.

We would like to announce that we are drastically reducing our cost of membership! We would like to make Jiu Jitsu available to as many members of the community as possible. Our goal is to make what we teach and love available to others so that they can benefit from it in the same way that we have.

We are also going to offer up a scholarship program for students who are unable to financially afford the membership and this can be arranged via a one on one conversation with the gym owner Coach Zach. If you are interested in being a membership sponsor and helping to support another student please reach out and we can this setup.
